The non-for-profit Athena Institute offers the only tools in North America for the
life cycle assessment of whole buildings and assemblies:

The Estimator is capable of modeling 95 per cent of the building stock in North America—including industrial, institutional, office and residential designs—and simulating over 1,000 assembly combinations. It is available from the Athena Institute, as are various training and consulting options related to its use.

The EcoCalculator provides instant LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT results for more than 400 common building assemblies based on detailed assessments already conducted using the Estimator. It is available as a free download from this website or the Athena Institute.
